Catholics in this day and age find themselves in a culture that is ever more hostile to the values that form the bedrock of true Christian Community. Catholics in the military are no exception. Our culture at large champions the pornography industry under the banner of moral relativity, which specifically targets those who are isolated from a solid Christian community. Our military members are particularly vulnerable to the pornography industry for this reason. Building a Christian community is particularly difficult while constantly changing locations, and our service members’ hectic schedules make it virtually impossible for them find Catholic resources that suit their specific needs. As a result, we see an array of military members who have fallen victim to pornography addictions, contributing to the very tangible consequences of sexual assault, marital infidelity, and divorce.
How do we help to address these problems?
